An event for cupcake lovers: Bake or buy cupcakes to bring -or- just come to eat and help a good cause. Activities include cupcake eating contests, cupcake wrapper decorating, bakers competitions, Hope Heart Institute fundraiser and more.  Best of all … it’s FREE.

The concept for Cupcake Camp originated in San Francisco and promotes a true spirit of community and sharing, and Cupcake Camps now happen around the world and come in a wide variety of flavors and sizes. The most essential feature of a Cupcake Camp is that it brings together people to share their love of cupcakes!

Cupcake Camp Seattle is presented by Bella Cupcake Couture as a delicious celebration of this small coveted treat. Completely volunteer run and organized in an open and participatory manner, our first Cupcake Camp Seattle raises funds for Hope Heart Institute.

The Hope Heart Institute was founded in 1959 for the purpose of researching reconstructive cardiovascular medicine and their accomplishments include the world’s first successful experimental Coronary Artery Bypass Graft. You may ask if eating cupcakes and a healthy heart go together. Following the rule that sweet treats should be enjoyed in moderation; cupcakes can be the perfect petite indulgence to fulfill ones sweet tooth craving. A little bit of love can make a big difference and everything tastes better when shared.

CupcakeCamp Seattle is a gathering born from the desire for people to share and eat cupcakes in an open environment.

And what better place to have this celebration than at one of Seattles newest venues;  415 Westlake. A distinctive northwest venue for receptions, music, corporate & cultural events, 415 provides a fresh canvas for your special event.  Located in the emerging South Lake Union neighborhood in the heart of Seattle, 415 has over 5,000 SF of space that seats over 225 at table or 300 for walk around events.

There are many different ways to participate in Cupcake Camp Seattle:

- bake or buy cupcakes to donate
- come to eat cupcakes
- help raise money for a good cause (Suggested donation: $10 at the door)

No big hearted cupcake lover will be turned away. Cupcake Camp Seattle is all about sharing and celebrating cupcakes, community and creativity. Charity never tasted sweeter!

Getting married? This is a perfect opportunity to sample froma  aselction of Seattle’s commercial cupakebakers all in one stylish venue. Consider it the biggest “cake” tasting event of all time. Bring your family and find the perfect cupcake vendor for your special day.

TIPS QUANTITY: No limit on how many cupcakes you bring (the more you can bring, the better) – and mini cupcakes are encouraged!

DELIEVER BY: People bringing cupcakes should plan on delivering them to 415 Westlake by 10:00am the day of the event.

SCHEDULE: We will have 15 minute timeslots schedules for tasting different types of cupcakes. The schedule will be posted at the event.

CONTEST CATEGORIES: Best “Seattle” Decorated, Most Unique Ingredients, and — in honor of our charity — Healthiest upcake. Sweet is expected, but savory will ne be rejected! We will showcase a rainbow of delectable treats, sweet, savory and maybe some in between. You can opt-in for a category when you arrive with your cupcakes at 10am. Please note if your cupcakes are Vegan or Gluten Free.
