Sweet Success- The 2011 Results

What an amazing, sweet-filled day we had for the 2nd Annual Cupcake Camp Seattle event. Bella Cupcake Couture (event organizer)  is so proud of the amazing outcome; we had nearly 800 people attend, 25+ vendors sharing their goods (sweet, stylish and sassy), 5,000 cupcakes to sample and the greatest success was raising $7,000 with proceeds going to the Hope Heart Institute.

We also felt soooo lucky with the weather we had. It was a beautiful sunshiny day at (which we know is rare in Seattle the past several months). Everyone enjoyed there cupcakes along the  water on the patio at The Canal.

There are so many folks to thank for helping to pull together this fabulous event. First is definitely The Canal, a Jewel Hospitality venue for providing the beautiful space for this fabulous event.

New York Cupcakes and Wink Cupcakes, our Champagne sponsors who provided over 800 cupcakes each!

New York Cupcakes created this awesome cake featuring our Cupcake Camp Seattle artwork by one of the sweetest artists ever; Cakespy. The artwork features cuppies in our Bella Cupcake Couture frolicking in the Ballard Locks all for the Hope Heart Institute.

Barbie Hull Photography, as always, captured ALL these amazing photographed moments on this entire blog.  Truly artistic!

Cupcake Love

Can you remember the moment you saw your first cupcake? A small cake with a mound of sugary, fluffy frosting, candied sprinkles and if you were lucky a big maraschino cherry on top. It seemed to be the most adorable thing on earth; almost to perfect to eat.

Til this day, grown-ups still get transported back in time at the sight of this small-coveted treat. However, today you can now find a variety of flavors and artistically decorated cupcakes throughout the world.
