It was another fun and sweet filled year at Cupcake Camp Seattle! Once again we had hundreds and hundreds of people show up to eat thousands of cupcakes all to benefit the Hope Heart Institute.
Line out the door waiting to get in.
Dante’s Hot Dogs on hand for a savory treat in between all the sweets.
We are very proud of the outcome of over 400 people attending to sample all this sweetness. And we were lucky once again with fabulous sunny weather. We were able to raise nearly $4,500 with all ticket proceeds going to the Hope Heart Institute.
Special thanks to our Champagne Sponsor Trophy Cupcakes! They were absolutely wonderful and had an adorable little mascot handing out Trophy Cupcake Stickers. They were also our Cupcake Eating Competition sponsor and boy was that a hit. See the end of this post for more details.
We also have a HUGE Thank you to Jewel Hospitality for allowing us to use their facility The Canal venue for our event. It’s our second year here and it is absolutely a perfect layout for guests to mingle and to enjoy the view along the Ballard Locks. They also cater AND bake delicious cupcakes for events. They were a huge hit and won several awards over the past couple years.
HOT DOG CUPCAKE by Sam Zaiss for Most Unique Ingredient
One of the highlights of the event is our amateur and commercial bakers cupcake competition. We had three categories, the Most Unique ingredients, Best Seattle themed, and Most Healthy Cupcake.
All our fabulous judges were once again for the task of picking the best cupcakes from the various entries for this year’s competition.
